Bobby Orr and Phil Esposito were two of the greatest hockey players that ever laced on skates. Phil Esposito was one of the greatest forwards, which was quite an accomplishment, considering he didn’t learn to skate until he was a teenager. He teamed with Bobby Orr when they were both Boston Bruins. They skated in tandem to become one of the most dynamic scoring duos in hockey history. Bobby Orr’s game was amazing. After Esposito’s career ended, he remained a part of the National Hockey League scene. He spent time as a pitchman and a broadcaster. He became an executive with the New York Rangers, serving as the general manager and the head coach. He only spent a short time on the bench. Esposito went on to be one of the founders of the Tamba Bay Lightning.
